march is almost ending.. and with april coming, another year will be again added to me...

► saw this new phone from SE's website and my jaw dropped and i almost drool of sheer delight with the iDou!!! it's like the phone asked me to buy him and hypnotically i said "iDou!!!" bwahahaha!!!

2. SOFA FOR MY MOM

► ok, this is more of a personal plan as part of my house development... my mom's bugging me about this as well since her bday last march 9th... might as well include a ref and a washing machine...

1. FINANCIAL AND CAREER GROWTH

► this for me is something for that will give me peace of mind. i am wishing that there will come a time that me and my partner will be free from debt. that time comes when the pay we are receiving every 15th and end of the month doesn't just turn into receipts. we wish that time comes that out of 8 credit cards will have none or just this three... or four.

i miss those days when paying in cash was my only option.

career wise, the only thing that keeps on bugging me is that i am not growing. i am working in ibm for more than three yrs now and i know in myself that it's high time for me to move up. have you ever felt that you're paid for doing something you're over-qualified for? that's the situation i am in now and i don't like it. i wanna grow... i think i even wanna move up...

espresso talk

coffee after shift before we head onto the weekend off is one of the things that i look forward to before. this was our way of keeping update with ourselves--personally, emotionally, family and relationship-wise. it is also a great stress-buster; talking about anything and everything and opening up.

we usually do this--me, kalay, aj and jhong. then jhong transferred to TP and the three of us though we're still with IBM got busy every now and then that our coffee session was halt for awhile...

then just before our shift ended, kalay cajoled me to have breakfast. since i was not that hungry we decided to just have coffee. so off to starbucks we went....

it's been a while since we did this last, and at first it was like we were back on the getting-to-know each other stage. we catched up on our individual relationship--me with darwin; her with nikki. then it was just like before. the comfort of coffee enveloping us as we started telling details of what's going on with who. shared secrets, family concerns, personal feelings, been each other's counselor and confidante.

i really like talking to kalay. people may have an impression of her as someone as a spoiled brat, a snob, a princess... but over a cup of coffee, i am so thankful that she's giving me the chance to get to know her better. the real kalay beyond all the glitz and glamour. we're both an only child (technically) so with her it's like confiding to a sibling (a younger sister) that i never had. i trust her of my emotions, my thoughts. and in return she's pouring our her feelings and sentiments with trust as well.

those precious seconds we get to spend is something that puts a smile on your face. it makes you feel lighter knowing that there's someone listening, mirroring...

keeping the love alive is what best described our coffee session for today. our love for our family... for our partner.... for friendship.... a love that is unselfish... sacrificial... love that makes us go on... endure... strive... struggle... and love even more...

saw ABS's summer station id! aylabeetttt!!!!

when i saw this vid, super na-feel ko na summer na talaga.

aside from the scorching hot obvious temp this days. plus sung by kantoboyz which makes it even hotter!

it's no brainer that ABS has been known for great production numbers. i practically grow up witnessing their grand spectacular numbers every Xmas. and i can still recall before ABS had like monthly station id.. for once i followed my heart, now i can see i am back where i truly belong--to my family..

Last Hoorah for Eheads

A week had past and me and flora still could not get ahold of ourselves off the eheads mania that stuck to us like a potent perfume. Friday I got an SMS alert from Team Manila that they will be selling 2nd batches of the limited edition Eheads Team Manila Shirt.

So after shift I immediately went home to Bulacan to visit the folks. Slept a little, then off to Rockwell I met my girl friend. She was actually there earlier than me because I instructed her to fall in line while waiting for me. When I arrived at the archeology wing the line was already stretching as far as till the national bookstore area!

There were lots of people and usi and the conyo's of Rockwell asking what the line was all about. I was wearing my shades when a foreigner approached me telling me that I look like rizal in the banner of team manila. Geez, all i could say was thank you!

so after about lining for more than 1 hr. we finally got our shirts. and mr. raymund marasigan himself was there and signed our shirts and my two concert tickets!

rocking night

just been to eheads the final list concert!!!

03/07/09 had gotta be one of my busiest day ever. after friday shift, the whole tier 2 has breakfast at dencio's. panira ung pansit dencio's, sisig, crispy pata to my week-long diet of wheat bread at garden fresh salad!!! grrr!!! i'm off to coron in 2 hrs, and my tummy is still the same big, flabby belly!!!

mukhang magkakatotoo na i will hit the beach wearing sando! haha, at least i will have a tan line...

going back to the concert, i loved this one compared to the first; the reunion concert. i mean ely was not in good shape that time so i have to cut them some slacks. plus the mere fact that the band have not played together for more than 5 yrs, there was just hostility back then. but with the final list, the aura was more relaxed... more jamming-like. especially the set after the first break where in the played songs acoustic style. and i mean old songs from way back cutterpillow album! i'm so darn sleepy right now that i could not remember the songs... i will have to edit this when i got the pics as well from flora's brand new cam.

then the would -be final songs minsan and huling el bimbo made me teary-eyed. minsan for the message of friendship, and huling el bimbo for the naivete of falling in love. the grand fireworks towards the end of huling el bimbo did the trick and my three-thousand ticket was oh-so worth it! a toast to great songs that made a soundtrack of a generation!!!

ely said from previous statement that the final list will be, well, final. but he said towards the end of the concert that "we are the eraserheads..." not we were; as a premise to something that will now belong to the past. i am an optimist, there could be a follow up. but then again, the concert tonight should just be it: final. eraserheads will leave thru the minds of the 90's babies. their melody a part of our growing up years. their rhythm a sound track of finding ourselves whilst adolescence. their music will echo and will leave a great mark in filipino music....

now i have to sleep because i have a 9am flight to catch when we have to be at the airport by 7am. the four of us will meet at 6 am so that means i have to wake up at 530. 2 hrs of sleep is not so bad when all of my adrenaline is still pumping!

summer 09 starts kicking in....

SUMMER 2009

this will have to be the one most anticipated weekend ever! i can even hear KC saying in a sing-song-like tone "summer na, tara na sa beach!!" sabay guhit sa hangin ng Ü
barely 12 hrs and it will be eheads' the final list concert! as what ely buendia said in an interview "the final list will be the bands last gig...it's a farewell performance to a legacy of great music the band created, and a tribute to the support of all the fans who's been there..."
having said that, it makes the concert more anticipated and to watch for... and with the passing of francis m--a good friend of the band--i'm sure that they will make a tribute to the master rapper as well and will make another history in pinoy concert scene again...
i can now feel the chills running down my spine with so much excitement!
then after the concert--hopefully makatulog pa ako--i will catch a flight @ 6am to coron, palawan! i am definitely, surely, irrevocably starting my summer now!!!!
with how work is becoming toxic nowadays, i am truly looking forward to this vacation!
i'm off to paradise: SUN + SAND + SUNTAN LOTION + MY MAN + ÜBER-FRIENDS = FUN! FUN! FUN! FUN!
